A new partnership between Intel and Foxconn signals a broader push to expand artificial intelligence infrastructure beyond large-scale training systems and into deployment-focused computing.

Intel and Foxconn have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on AI rack infrastructure, edge AI systems, physical AI platforms, and custom chip design services. The agreement brings together Intel’s semiconductor and platform technologies with Foxconn’s manufacturing and systems integration capabilities as demand for AI deployment hardware continues to grow.

Expanding the AI infrastructure stack
